The CIRE laboratory develops its research in the fields of synthesis, coordination chemistry, electrochemistry and redox photochemistry. We design molecular architectures with diverse functionalities, often inspired by a bio-mimetic approach or with biological applications. Our work is directed towards both fundamental research (switchable systems, non-orthodox functions, metal-radical coupling) and practical applications (nanochemical devices, therapy, diagnostic, catalysis).
The CIRE lab is organized around 3 main research areas
