Our research interests go from ligand design to the development of highly active catalysts applied to organic methodologies.
We focus on new redox non-innocent ligands, which include novel switchable carbenes, original NacNac ligands and o-phenylenediamine-derived polydentate ligands, among other.
These platforms provide earth-abundant transition metal catalysts with promising properties in homogeneous catalysis. In addition, another strategy aims to combine organocatalytic and transition-metal approaches in a cooperative manner.
