Chimie Inorganique Redox

The CIRE laboratory conducts research in the areas of synthesis, coordination chemistry, electrochemistry, and redox photochemistry. We create molecular architectures with a variety of functionalities, often inspired by a biomimetic approach or biological applications. Our work focuses on both fundamental research (switchable systems, non-traditional functions, and metal-radical coupling) and practical applications (nanochemical devices, therapy, diagnostic, catalysis).

The CIRE lab is organized around 3 main research areas :

  • Photo-induced processes
  • Bio-targeted coordination chemistry
  • Bio-inspired catalysis
