Theranostic Agents

Imaging and therapy with the same agent, only by switching the radionuclide! This requires the synthesis of new extremely potent coordinating agents, capable to complex a wide variety of metals (e.g. 68Ga, 99mTc, 177Lu…) which can be further coupled to very specific biological vectors (e.g. nanobodies). We design, synthesize these new ligands, study their coordination and their radiolabeling properties before the organic derivatization into a bifunctionnal agent able to be linked to a nanobody.
