ADRIA SANCHEZ MORALES

Dr. Adrià Sánchez-Morales was graduated in Chemistry (with a mention in biological chemistry) in 2015 at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). After that, he got a Master’s degree in Chemical Research at UAB working on the synthesis of new photopharmacological tools for the light-induced control of neuronal signalling.

In 2022, he obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry at UAB on the synthesis of new biologically active small molecules designed by computational simulations. Throughout his PhD, he has been working on different research lines; new inhibitors of calcineurin receptors to reduce tumor angiogenesis and allatostatin receptors to reduce bees stress, new CBD-type allosteric modulators of cannabinoid receptors and new transthyretin tetramer stabilizers for amyloidosis diseases. Actually, he is working as a postdoc researcher at University Grenoble Alpes (UGA) on the design of new modulators of tyrosinase enzymes.
