Curriculum vitae
Dr Olivier Jarjayes is an assistant professor at the Grenoble - Alpes University. In 1994, he obtained his PhD in chemistry under the supervision of Dr. G. Bidan (CEA, Laboratoire d'Electrochimie Moléculaire). His PhD consisted in the synthesis of polypyrrole films including coated nano-particules of iron oxide. He did his post-doc in the University J. Fourier at Grenoble with Prof. C. Béguin where he worked on the multinuclear NMR characterization of Ga(III) complexes (iron siderophore mimics).
In 1996 he was appointed assistant professor at Université Joseph Fourier where he started working in the field of group 13 metal radiopharmaceuticals. Now, he conducts his research in the Department of Molecular Chemistry and more specifically in the redox-inorganic chemistry field.
His research interests deal with the design and synthesis of redox non innocent ligands mainely derived from the carbenes, salen backbones and their corresponding metal complexes (Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II/III) and Mn(II/III).
