Tyrosinase inhibition

From our previous results about models for dicopper center – substrate/inhibitor interactions, our present multidisciplinary approach is focused on a deeper understanding at the molecular level of the competitive inhibition mechanism of tyrosinase, the key enzyme involved in melanin (protective pigments) biosynthesis and associated to melanin-disorders.
