Activation of small molecules in the context of contemporary energy issues : CO2 reduction/valorization, N2O reduction , H2O oxydation and H2 production (OER/HER), redox transformation of organic molecules.

Design and synthesis of new molecular catalysts and photosensitizers (transition metal complexes, organic dyes) focusing on non critical metals (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu).

Elaboration of modified electrodes and study of molecular materials, hydrides structures for the conception of (photo)electrodes toward development of « artificial photosynthesis ».

Mechanistic studies, generation and characterization of reactional intermediates by electrochemistry (cyclic voltammetry, electrolysis) coupled to absorption and emission time-resolved spectroscopies (in situ and in operando).

Development of kinetic and theoretical models for analysis of proton-coupled electron transfers, turnover frequency and turnover number in electro/photocatalytic processes.

Valorization: Maturation project with SATT Linksium. Fuelsea project: development of new electrode coating materials for H2 production and chlorinated disinfectants.
