I am an assistant professor at Université Grenoble Alpes. In 2004, I obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry Strasbourg under the supervision of Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Jean-Paul Collin. My thesis consisted in the construction of molecular machines set in motion upon light irradiation. I did my post-doc in the University of California at San Diego with Prof. Yithzak Tor where I worked on the synthesis of photoactive ligands.
In 2006 I was appointed assistant professor at Université Joseph Fourier. I conducts my research in the Department of Molecular Chemistry and more specifically in the "Redox-Inorganic Chemistry" group.
During the year 2015/2016 I was a visiting professor at the University of California Berkeley in the group of Prof. Chris J. Chang.
My research interests revolve around the interaction between light and molecules. Constructing new photosensitizers, assembling photoactive devices onto surfaces, designing new ligands are my main goals.
