I2BM’s research focuses on the chemistry of biomolecules (nucleic acids, sugars, peptides, proteins) to design complex polyfunctional macromolecules whose properties are characterized by physicochemical studies (ITC, SPR, BLI, QCM-D, AFM…), molecular and cellular biology. Our projects, ranging from basic research to applications, belong to the Chemical Biology at the interface of chemistry, biology and immunology: they concern applications in the Health field. In particular, we develop synthetic supramolecular architectures and functional interfaces for bio-analysis, diagnosis and therapeutic applications (cancer, neuropathies, bacterial and viral diseases).
