[Mn(bipyridyl)CO3Br]: An Abundant Metal Carbonyl Complex as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction.
An usage of manganese complex and its advantages for carbon dioxide redn. are described in comparison with iridium complexes. The manganese complex allowed for redn. at markedly lower overpotentials (gain of 0.4 V) with selectivity and Faradaic efficiency almost identical. The catalysts could be prepd. by a simple mixing of components. [on SciFinder(R)]
