Graphene/clay composite electrode formed by exfoliating graphite with Laponite for simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid.
Abstr.: Laponite/graphene composite (Lap/G) was prepd. by directly exfoliating graphite with Laponite under mech. grinding. The morphologies and intrinsic phys. properties of Lap/G were characterized by TEM, SEM, and Raman spectroscopy. Electrochem. impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and differential pulse voltammetry were used to study the electrochem. behavior of Lap/G-modified electrodes. The resulting Lap/G composite exhibited good electrocond. combined with electrocatalytic activity towards oxidn. of small biomols. such as dopamine. Also, the resulting Lap/G-modified glassy C electrodes were applied for simultaneous detn. of ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid. Graphical abstr.: [Figure not available: see fulltext.].
