Grafted dinuclear metal complexes, and use thereof as cellular microvesicle sensors.
The invention relates to novel grafted dinuclear metal complexes I, II (M = metal ion; i = 1-3; L = exchangeable ligand; X = -(CH2)m-NH-A, -CH2-NHC(O)-R-NH-A; R = 2-10 alkyl; A = H, fluorophore; m = 1-2; n = 1-3; Y = (CH2)p-NH2; p 0-12) and also the use thereof as sensors in a method for detecting and/or characterizing cellular microvesicles. III (prepn. given) was immobilized in microtiter plate wells activated with polyglutaraldehyde. Microvesicles released from TNF-$\alpha$-activated HMEC-1 cells were captured in the wells and detd. by immunoassay with antibodies to the microvesicles. [on SciFinder(R)]
