Fluorescent molecules for surgery.
A review. The chem. assembly of functions such as cellular recognition and detection on a mol. frame allows to obtain selective and flexible tumor guidance systems which open new applications in the field of the detection and therapy. In particular, the validation in animals of fluorescent guidance systems for tumor with the development of near IR cameras is able to be valued for the development of technologies such as the assistance to the surgical gesture by real-time fluorescence imaging.
